The Roof

So one of the first projects we knew we had to tackle on 431 was the roof. We were told by our inspector early on that the roof was going to need replacing. Not only that, I knew in speaking with the Pilo family that  home insurers were pretty finicky when it came to rooves (roofs!?!). So we lined up some contractors to whip this bad boy into shape.. 

Lo and behold 3 weeks after moving in, we got a call from our insurer they were cancelling our insurance since the insurer inspector did not like the looks of the roof. Luckily by that time we had lined up a roofer and were in the process of starting the work.. we were given a 30 day window to get it finished and hopefully it will be done in time before we lose our insurance.
